Eat a whole head of cauliflower.  Not only will you get 12 grams of protein and 12 grams of fiber but you’ll also be getting 100% of the daily recommended value of vitamin C.  Oh and did I mention that an entire head of cauliflower only has about 150 calories?  

The problem is that as a society, we’re not used to eating an entire head of cauliflower – I mean, who does that, right?  

But the sad truth is that people will eat an entire bag of chips in a second!  

An entire bag of chips, sadly, has minimal nutritional value but is packed with calories, saturate fat, chemicals, additives, preservatives, salt, and other ingredients that you really don’t want in your body. 

I know it may sound strange to eat an entire head of cauliflower but the change needs to start with you.  

Here are some suggestions on how to enjoy your raw cauliflower:

  • Cut it into large chunks and dip in your favorite dipping sauce such as ketchup, hummus, avocado, or yogurt
  • Toss in a food processor to cut into small pieces and sprinkle on your salad, sandwiches, wraps, etc.
  • Snack on it through the day as you would a bag of chips or pretzels
